"This project was developed specifically to evaluate the friction characteristics of the sprinkle treatment process of incorporating a minimal amount of hard, durable, non-polishing aggregate into the surface of a conventional paving mixture containing aggregates having a history of being polish susceptible. The study includes the collection of design, construction, and performance data relative to the pavement structure"--P. 1-2.
