Abstract
This report discusses the development of the Kansas Accelerated Testing Laboratory (K-ATL) at Kansas State University (KSU). Between January 1997 and August 1997, two experiments were conducted at the K-ATL. The first experiment consisted of 76 mm (3 in.) of asphalt overlay over a 102 mm (4 in.) cold in-place recycled (CIPR) base stabilized with fly ash. The second experiment was the testing of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) load transfer devices.
