Abstract:
Another whodunnit in the series of Lady Tremayne diaries. _x000D__x000D_The year is 1654. _x000D__x000D_When an anonymous young woman is found hanged from a tree, Lady Jane Tremayne believes she's been murdered and is determined to investigate the crime. The trail she follows proves to be a perilous one, leading to her being kidnapped and taken abroad, where she expects to be sold as a slave to Corsairs.
