Proceedings of the annual Measurement and Control Engineering conference aimed at presenting current research in the field. ICMCE 2011 was held October 22-23, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, USA. The conference is for scientists, scholars, engineers and students from universities all around the world as well as industry professionals to present ongoing research activities, and hence to foster research relationships between universities and industry. This conference provides opportunities for delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relationships, and to find global partners for future collaboration.
