A famous soccer coach is murdered and his priceless Pink Panther diamond is stolen, leaving France in an uproar. Fortunately, Inspector Jacques Clouseau is on the case. For Clouseau it is just a minor detail, but he doesn't have a clue. With his partner, Gilbert Ponton, he careens from one misadventure to the next, leaving mayhem in his wake. He will travel from the boulevards of Paris to the streets of New York. Along the way he tries to seduce Xania, a pop diva and somehow manages not to drive Chief Inspector Dreyfus over the edge. Now, he just has to catch the killer and recover the diamond.
