Abstract:
The first book to provide the tools you need to understand interfacial chemical interactions Bridging three different fields: nanoscience, bioscience, and environmental science, Electrical Phenomena at Interfaces and Biointerfaces is the first book to present and explain the tools for understanding and analyzing the phenomena that take place at phase boundaries. Beginning with a discussion of the fundamental electrostatic occurrences at interfaces, the book provides detailed descriptions of the central theories on electrical double-layer interactions around and between charged particles, as well as electrokinetics and other topical subjects.
